Low voltage switchgears (LVS) are used in complete transformer substations with capacity from 630 to 3150 kVA and voltage of 6(10)/0.4 kV in all the industries, including metallurgical and chemical, as well as in the construction industry and for power supply systems for auxiliaries consumers of thermal and hydroelectric power plants, providing protection and normal operation of power transformers, as well as power supply and protection for auxiliaries consumers.
CTS and CTSFB provide as follows:
• Protection against:
• unacceptable voltage drop in the network of 0.4 kV (ACB);
• short-circuit currents and overload in the outgoing lines;
• single-phase short circuits in the 0.4 kV network.
• measurement of:
• bus bar voltages;
• current at inputs and outgoing lines;
• active and reactive energy.
